Susana Tubert is the creative director of creative entertainment at Disneyland Resorts in Anaheim, CA, and at Radio Ink's Hispanic Radio Conference, she'll share her incredible journey from the bright lights of New York to creating magical memories for millions of Disneyland guests. The conversation will highlight her passion for breaking down cultural barriers and her talent for using immersive storytelling that bring families together.
Tubert's perspective and enlightened approach will also inspire conference attendees to greater creativity and enhanced audience engagement at their stations.
Angie Balderas, senior vice president at Entravision, sums it up best: "No one knows how to leverage content like Disney. We are truly lucky to be able to hear first what Disney has planned for the Hispanic market and what we can all learn from it for our radio stations."
In her role at Disneyland Resort, Susana Tubert provides creative leadership to show directors and writer teams on a variety of projects, including stage shows, parades, spectaculars, atmosphere entertainment, and special events. She also directs and oversees the development of treatments, scripts, storyboards, scenic and costume design, music development, and all other creative elements required for site-initiated projects. Before joining the Disneyland Resort, Susana worked for more than 18 years in the theater industry as a stage, TV and film director. Most recently, she co-founded and served as executive director and producer of the Latino International Theater Festival of New York, where she oversaw TeatroStageFest. She also conceived and launched the Young Playwrights Latino Challenge contest for high school students, curated indoor and outdoor TeatroStageFamily shows, and produced a theater tour to Colombia, Argentina and Brazil, as well as a four-city national tour in the United States.
